Alexis Ajinca

Alexis Ajinca was born on May 6, 1988 in France. He is a French professional basketball player. He plays for New Orleans Pelicans of the National Basketball Association. He began his career playing for the junior basketball INSEP Center Federal (2003-2006). Later in 2006, he joined Pau-Orthez and in 2010 he was selected for the NBA draft by the Charlotte Bobcats. He later joined the Dallas Mavericks in 2010, which led to his stardom and signing to New Orleans in 2013. In February 2015, he scored a high of 24 points. In addition, Anjica plays for the French national team internationally. He first represented France in the Euro Basket in 2013 as well as other regional competitions and domestic competitions. His major accomplishment and awards include winning the Albert Schweitzer tournament (2006) and being part of the FIBA euro basket French national team (2013).
