Adam Conover is an American comedian, writer, voice actor, and television host born in Smithtown, New York on March 2, 1983. He is best known for creating and hosting the truTV show Adam Ruins Everything. Conover became interested in acting after graduating high school and while in college became a member of the sketch comedy group Olde English. He graduated from Bard College in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy. In 2012 he started working at the comedy website CollegeHumor as a sketch comedy writer. While working for the website he created his show Adam Ruins Everything that premiered its first episode on September 29, 2015. He has also voiced several characters on the animated Netflix show BoJack Horseman that was created by his former roommate Raphael Bob-Waksberg in 2014.
