Adam Baldwin was born on Febraury 27, 1962 in Winnetka, Illinois. Adam was plucked from relative obscurity to take the leading role in My Bodyguard (1980). He went on to play supporting roles in a number of Hollywood hits including D.C Cab (1983), Full Metal Jacket (1987), Predator 2 (1990) and Independence Day (1996). Since this promising start, he has continued to appear in films with more than 60 appearances to date, though few have replicated the success of his early career.
He has now moved into television alongside his film work with roles in Stargate: SG1 (2004) as well as the X Files (2001) and Angel (2004). After that, he continued to make regular TV appearances with his most successful stint comprised of his role as John Casey in Chuck (2007-2012). As well as film and TV, he has also lent his voice to a number of video game characters over the years including Halo 3 (2009) and Firefly (2015).
