Abir

Abir is a Moroccan pop singer born in Fez, Morocco on July 7, 1994. At a young age she discovered her love for music and was inspired by musicians like Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, and Vaughan. She started singing at the age of six and is self taught by listening to her favorite musicians and mimicking them. Her parents moved the family from Morocco when Abir was a child to Virginia where she grew up. She moved to New York as an adult to further her music career. She has released singles like “Way Out”, “Girls”, “Young & Rude” and others. In 2018 she released her debut EP titled Mint that includes songs like “Tango”, “Reunion”, “For Ya”, “Finest Hour” and more.
